The role of the motor end cover

Motor end cover: It is the cover of the motor casing. Generally divided into front cover and rear cover, used to fix and support the motor shaft.
The end cover generally refers to the cover at both ends of the motor whose axial size is larger than the radial size. The main function is to determine the spatial position of the rotor shaft. Of course, it needs to be matched with different forms of bearings, and is connected to the outer casing of the fixed motor stator through the end cover. To ensure the gap between the rotor and the stator, it is generally cast iron technology, and small motors can also be stamped and formed from sheet metal.
Purpose of motor end caps
In layman's terms, the front and rear end covers of the motor are used to fix the entire motor through the rotating shaft.
